 Hi there!

I'm Darlene the founder of Dals Hart. As a Savile Row-trained tailor and African textile designer, I'm passionate about creating unique and empowering fashion pieces. I believe that clothing should be more than just fabric, it should be a reflection of your personal style and identity.

Join me on this journey of self-expression and discover the beauty of Dals Hart.

Dals Hart is more than just a fashion label; it's a reflection of my passion for artistry and my belief in the power of personal expression. I've dedicated my career to creating timeless pieces that empower individuals to feel confident and unique. From my early days of providing bespoke tailoring services to adapting my business model during the pandemic, I've always been driven by a desire to offer a personalised and exceptional customer experience. Whether it's a made to order suit or a ready to wear piece, each Dals Hart creation is infused with my love for colour, attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

Clothing is more than just the fabric we love, it's a way to communicate your identity and tell your story. By working closely with my clients, I strive to help them translate their personal style into garments that make them feel truly themselves.

As an African designer, I've always been drawn to the vibrant colours, intricate patterns and rich textures found in traditional African fabrics. Growing up in Ghana, I was surrounded by the beauty and diversity of these textiles and they have deeply influenced my aesthetic. From the bold geometric designs of Ankara to the delicate handwoven fabrics of Kente, each piece tells a story and represents a unique cultural heritage. By incorporating these elements into my designs, I aim to celebrate my roots and share the beauty of African textiles with the world. My goal is to create pieces that are not only stylish, but also meaningful pieces that connect people to their authentic selves and inspire them to express their individuality.
